YOGA THERAPEUTICS

With Amanda Riley

Friday 22nd October.  6:45pm – 8:15pm

Cost: £20 in Studio / £15 via Zoom

By candlelight, Amanda will lead a deeply nourishing, mindful, moving meditation by guiding you through rhythmic, pulsing and undulating movements that will help you lose yourself in your practice and reconnect deeply to your body.

This embodying class is nourishing for everyone.  The intention is to nourish the body from within.  To move from the belly, the body, instead of the head.

The somatic movement will help ease digestive discomfort, lower feelings that come with stress and anxiety, help with insomnia, support women and men on their fertility journey, and even help to ease and let go of past trauma.

The practice will end with a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra.

A beautiful way to celebrate the Autumn Equinox and welcome the new season.

You may also wish to join on Zoom.

Sunday 7th November.  10:30am – 12:30pm

YIN & RESTORATIVE YOGA

With Sofie Swindlehurst

Friday 12th November. 6:45pm – 8:15pm

Cost: £15

Yin is the calm, receptive opposite to dynamic yang.  Of course we need both but our swift-paced world tends to find life a little too heavy in yang!

Yin Yoga focuses on the connective tissues of the body using longer-held, more supported asana to open up tight, dense areas that can build up over time.  It’s great for those of us with slow-creep postural habits, those of us with specific sports goals and those of us who just want to take better care of our joint health.  By coupling with restorative, this practice brings generous relaxation and renewal.  Come revel in spacious stillness.

AN AUTUMNAL YIN YOGA WORKSHOP TO NOURISH BODY AND SOUL

With Carolyn Harrison

Sunday 14th November 2021.  4:15pm – 6:15pm

Autumn is the season to nourish our Lung Chi, this energy is all about absorbing what we need and letting go of what we don’t.

The Lung Chi is responsible for a healthy immune system, which is really important at this time of year.

Yin Yoga helps to stimulate the energy, or Chi, through the energy channels of the body and is a more restorative, healing yoga that targets the connective tissues, such as the fascia, ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that are not normally exercised very much, which is even more important as our lives have become more sedentary.

Advanced bookings only please.
