Summer 2015 Newsletter


Summer has arrived (although sometimes disguised as rain!). However, it seems that many of us are heading to the seaside, including the teachers at InHale Yoga.  We are sorry but we are really scaling down our classes at InHale Yoga in August but we will be back in force in September with lots of amazing classes and workshops to bring you back onto your mats!

Pop Up Classes at InHale Yoga

Don’t despair though as we still have great classes and workshops running and in July and August. Alongside some of our regular classes, we are running some inspirational, one-off “pop-up” yoga classes for you to try.  So, check out the weekly timetable and come and try something new with a teacher you may not have practised with before!

All classes and workshops over the summer are suitable for everyone, regardless of yoga experience.  Please note that the August timetable is quite different to the regular timetable and some class times are different.  The regular timetable will be up and running again from Tuesday 1st September.

Breathing Space Yoga and Babistic Baby and You Fundraiser Coffee Morning

Sarah invites all mums and babies to her charity coffee morning on Monday 20th July from 11 – 12:30.  Come for tea, coffee, cake and a mini baby yoga session.  A great socialising opportunity for parents and babies.  The cost is £7 donation per baby and parent (siblings welcome).  All money raised goes to Cheshire Search and Rescue.

Wonderful New Class Starting in September

We are very excited to announce that a new teacher (not truly new as most of you will know her already!) and a new class is coming to InHale Yoga on TUESDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER.  

Come and join Sofie at her Open Flow Yoga Class on Tuesdays 6:30pm – 7:45pm.  This class blends asana and breathwork to create a dynamic, flowing class whilst also giving time to explore individual asana (poses).  Each class balances an element of yang (active, alert) with yin (passive, relaxation). The intention (sankalpa) for each class is based around the focus for the month.

Things may have quietened down a little, but we have a fabulous selection of workshops with amazing teachers from InHale Yoga and also visiting teachers who bring a whole new energy to the studio.

Strength of Summer: A Chill Out Friday Class

This relaxing Friday class seeks to balance the vitality of summer with an inner serenity. It blends breathwork, gentle flow and restorative asana. It will focus on bringing harmony to the digestive system, nurturing the optimum function that allows us each to thrive.

Accessible to all. No need to book; please feel free to drop in on the day.



Inner Goddess: The 10 Wisdom Goddesses

Sunday 26th July 10am – 1pm

Cost: £35

Another amazing workshop in the series of Yoga Goddesses (each works wonderfullly on it’s own so don’t worry if you haven’t been to any others in the series). Each will introduce the energies and symbolism underlying the Tantrik philosophy of the Dasa Maha Vidya.

Sessions will be expressive, creative and fun, whilst offering a deep practice involving asana, pranayama, mantra, mudra and yoga nidra.

Yogasana: Advanced Hatha Yoga Flow Class

Saturday 1st August & Saturday 5th September 4pm – 5:30pm

Cost: £10

Victoria’s monthly “Yogasana” advanced Hatha flow class especially for you to open up the body, in particular the hips and spine to develop deeper back bends, inversions and arm balances.  The class is suitable for yogis with at least 6 months minimum yoga practice and who are well versed in all the basic yoga postures.  There is no need to book, just drop in.

Mindfulness Yoga Workshop

Saturday 8th August & Saturday 22nd August 2015.  2pm – 3:30pm

Cost: £12 if booked in advance (£15 on the day)

Stretch into Summer with this restorative workshop which will focus on harmonising the mind and body through breath-work, mindfulness exercises, and gentle stretching poses. This is workshop as much therapeutic as it is physical, resulting in a much more positive relationship with yourself as we enter this season of growth and productivity.

Pranayama and Mysore

Saturday 5th September.  

Pranayama 9:15am – 10:15am.  Mysore 10:15am – 12:15pm

Cost: £20 for both or £12 for each session.

Discover how your asana practice can become smooth and effortless by focusing on and expanding your breath with a dedicated Pranayama session before your Mysore practice. Connect deeper through the breath and learn how to integrate this into your yoga practice.

Ashtanga Yoga: Deepening the Connection

A yoga and pranayama workshop that will combine the deep connection to the breath, pranayama and bandhas, whilst exploring some of the more advanced postures of the Ashtanga sequence. This connection will allow the practice to become smooth and effortless, with modifications to suit everyone.

The aim is “Sthira Sukham Asanam” meaning to be in the posture with full support, feeling centred and without stress.

Suitable for those who have done some yoga before even if new to the Ashtanga sequence.

Transformational Breathwork as a Meditation Technique

Sometimes we get to a point in life where it’s either breakdown or breakthrough and this is where our inner journey of yoga and meditation begins to be our greatest teacher.  In this transformative workshop, Vicki will guide you through pranayama techniques, kriyas, bandhas and mantras to help you to not only find depth in your yoga practice but also give you valuable tools to cope with the stresses and strains of everyday life.

This workshop is ideal for both beginners and those with an established practice.
